I have a 2017 Kia Sorento that I brought April of 2021.
I have a 2017 Kia Sorento that I brought April of 2021. This vehicles engine has gone out 3 times since I've had it. Each time they tell me it's a brand new engine and the engine goes out before 6 months of it supposedly being changed .I call to let them know and it's a 6 month wait. They just did this to me February of 2023 where I had to pay almost $2000 for everything that went wrong while my vehicle was sitting waiting to be serviced under warranty. I have reached out to the corporate per 1 of their own staff and in the midst of getting a lawyer because now my engine is out yet again after just getting it back in February not to mention they made me drive off the lot with a dead battery to where I had no choice but to go straight to another shop and pay more to have them change battery. The car radio nor lights would stay on because my battery completely died while in Casey Kias care. While waiting on servicing that turned out to supposedly be my fault . Multiple ppl Kias had my vehicle from Aug 2022-February 2023. They we having it towed between the VA Beach location , Newport News location and Chesapeake location. Engine went back out again July 2023.

Drove 90 minutes to find out car was not even there and another hr waiting to find out this information. I had already spent 2 days explaining to the sales person that I did not want to waste my time going there if the deal would not be reached. Especially since I didn’t not want to put extra miles on current ride and waste a night after working a 10 hrs shift driving only for a deal not to be made. I was assured car was there and deal was reached but it was not and that was not cool. Horrible, horrible experience. Unprofessional sales team as sales rep was working 3 deals and 3 different desks and just all over the place. I went with a dealer out of state and got better service over the phone and documents were sent to me to fill out and send back. Do better.

Good luck trying to get anyone to return calls when you start having problems with your car ! My car was repaired by them and it didn’t fix the problem ! I called my service advisor, Ryan 5 times without a return call and the service manager, Ed Colton twice and no response ! Contacting Kia Corporate for assistance next ! Nothing but problems with this vehicle which was bought new at this dealership.

Service went down hill. Had to struggle to get my car taken care of. My 5th Kia from here. Might be last. Parts and Service Director called me and listened to my complaint and I feel he addressed my concerns and made it right. I appreciate the time he gave me.

Aiden is awesome. This young man is very knowledgeable in Kia Fortes I tell ya!! I was just at Casey Kia getting an oil change and was wondering about their buy back program. I saw my salesman from a previous car sale 3 years ago and he actually was promoted to another position. He intorduced me to Aiden and 2 weeks later, I have a 2023 Kia Forte!!! Aiden made sure to keep in touch with me to make sure everything went through smoothly. He took excellent care of me and make sure that I got what I needed and didn't make me feel stressed through the whole process. I met with Nick and all went well. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE , HORRIBLE. My car get a different expected release date every week for the past 3 weeks … all I’m told is they waiting on a simple window regulator . I could ordered one myself and had it there by now… it’s so frustrating have to hear the same xxxx thing every time I call. Missed on on seeing my 97 yr old great grandmother for the holidays . Even tho the original release date was 2 weeks before I had planned to leave . Here it is the weekend I’m suppose to be there , and I’m hearing the same story I heard 2 weeks go . “Waiting on a window regulator “ ..

Zero stars.
Zero stars. No choice to give it one star so this review would get published. Have brought my car in 4 times for repairs for the same issue. Have had this vehicle for less than a year and it has been in the repair shop more than it has been driven. This vehicle is not safe to drive and the repair shop keeps it for at least 2 weeks at a time if not longer. If that isn't bad enough, each time I drop it off for the same issue, the repair service threatens that I will have to pay for repairs that they never fixed.

WHY WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO CASEY KIA We bought a car from Casey Kia in Newport News in 2023. It came with free oil changes and state inspections. Good perk but we would have gotten the car regardless. Recently it was time for an oil change. We set up a day and time. We arrived 15 minutes early and nearly 3 hours later they told us the car was ready. When we asked what took so long they said they were backed up with other cars. Three hours! Yesterday we made an appointment for 11:15 am to have our brakes looked at. We were ready to wait, and brought things to do to occupy our time.. When I asked when it would be ready Marcus told us that they probably would not get to look at it until the end of day or tomorrow. I told him I did not understand since we had made this appointment and expected the car to be looked at in a reasonable amount of time. He said there was nothing he could do, they were short technicians and there were again, cars in front of us. I tried to understand why we had an appointment if ultimately it made little or no difference. He said something like that is when you could drop the car off. I asked about a loaner car, because if we chose to leave it we had no way home. I also told him I recently had a stroke so I cannot drive, so bringing a second car was not an option. Marcus told us he was not authorized to give us a loaner car. At that point we had decided that this was the last time we would deal with them. I went out front to see if I could get the manager's name and contact info. The lady at the desk seemed very tentative and said she was not allowed to give out that info. To which I responded, I bought my car here and am not able to speak to the manager? I did end up leaving my name and phone number, however, more than 24 hours later I haven't heard anything. Which ultimately is fine because under no circumstances would we be going back. If you live in the Carrollton / Smithfield area I would HIGHLY recommend Travis Auto Services. They are honest, prompt, and their prices are very reasonable. They will be getting our brake job, all future oil changes and state inspections, because honestly, they are NOT free at Casey Kia! If you don't pay cash you will pay with time. This is the first time in 72 years that I have made a public complaint like this. Also, I in no way was rude nor inappropriate.

I am very disappointed by the service this time and I've
I am very disappointed by the service this time and I've been customer of Casey Kia service for 10 years. I bought the car to repair the A/C after I explained the problem and that it happen after 20/30 min run on the road. They kept the car for a whole day, and they returned without finding any problem, but $400 bill for nothing. So, I took it to the road, until the problem came back and took it to service showing the problem. They asked me to bring it back in a couple of days, a Thursday, with the promise to call me back, the evening or next day, which neither happen, so I called on Saturday without an answer. I asked if I can get a courtesy car, and I was denied because they have to call the insurance, and they didn't have any. I was the whole weekend without a car. On Monday, I went in person at midday (no call yet) to tell me that I have to bring it back with the issue, because they cannot reproduce the problem. Next day, I did the same, driving for some time and then take it to the shop. Finally they call me back to tell me the repair will be $2600 and the insurance only pays $900, which I cannot afford, mostly because I am still paying for it (sure, an used car bought from Casey Kia, who was the one who suggested me to buy the insurance which "cover" the A/C). Since I cannot afford that expense, I took it back, naturally, paying $400 more for the diagnose (the one not got it the first time). So, I spend $700 and nothing came from it. It is not that the mechanics should not be pay by their time, but paying twice when the problem was declared twice. And it is a car I bought 6 months ago. I cannot blame the personal if they don't have the power to take some decisions... I think the advisor was legal, but he should consider that I paid twice for just being diagnose, the time I lost and the inconvenience of not being informed and kept without a car for 5 days. So, TODAY, I cannot recomend the Service Center, when before I always being happy.
