I have a 2017 Kia Sorento that I brought April of 2021.

I have a 2017 Kia Sorento that I brought April of 2021. This vehicles engine has gone out 3 times since I've had it. Each time they tell me it's a brand new engine and the engine goes out before 6 months of it supposedly being changed .I call to let them know and it's a 6 month wait. They just did this to me February of 2023 where I had to pay almost $2000 for everything that went wrong while my vehicle was sitting waiting to be serviced under warranty. I have reached out to the corporate per 1 of their own staff and in the midst of getting a lawyer because now my engine is out yet again after just getting it back in February not to mention they made me drive off the lot with a dead battery to where I had no choice but to go straight to another shop and pay more to have them change battery. The car radio nor lights would stay on because my battery completely died while in Casey Kias care. While waiting on servicing that turned out to supposedly be my fault . Multiple ppl Kias had my vehicle from Aug 2022-February 2023. They we having it towed between the VA Beach location , Newport News location and Chesapeake location. Engine went back out again July 2023.

My wife and I have had numerous experiences with new car deliveries with Mercedes, KIA, Chrysler and Nissan, but without any hesitation we can say, Jacob was the most personable, knowledgeable, professional and was a very attentive representative for Casey KIA. Jacob's attention to detail made our 4 and half hour process run smoothly and answered all questions to our full satisfaction. We would like to point out that James (finance department) was detailed in his explanations regarding all contracts and warranties provided by or offered by KIA. Perks with the vehicle are great got a great deal for the vehicle I wanted. My only concern is the paperwork process could have been handled better. I was informed the day prior when I arrived the next day with check in hand, tags and titles would be completed but it was not. So we arrive at 12:30am & we didn’t leave until 2pm, once the admin completed the tags and title paperwork. Lastly, I didn’t think the approach of trying to sell me a higher protection on my vehicle after I handed the check over to complete my payment was inappropriate. I did receive a dependable vehicle and I appreciate Casey Kia providing this for me. However, the information stated above left me with an unpleasant experience hospitality wise.

Very poor customer service.

Very poor customer service. Upon arrival, the service writer was very grumpy and argumentative. I told her we were at the dealership for the 16,000 service. She argued that it was 15,000 mile service and I told her that I had taken a picture of the book. She then tried to sell service and parts that were not due at our current mileage. As we waited in the dealership, the noise level was beyond belief. There was loud music playing on top of a loud TV. I was very glad to leave after service was completed. I don’t have confidence in returning to the dealership.

Good luck trying to get anyone to return calls when you

Good luck trying to get anyone to return calls when you start having problems with your car ! My car was repaired by them and it didn’t fix the problem ! I called my service advisor, Ryan 5 times without a return call and the service manager, Ed Colton twice and no response ! Contacting Kia Corporate for assistance next ! Nothing but problems with this vehicle which was bought new at this dealership.
